Dorm housing includes double occupancy suite with linen supply and shared bath, campus parking permit and meals. Single rooms with shared bath are also available for an additional fee. The food is not like any dorm food you may remember. You are guaranteed a variety of choices from the fresh salads and sandwich bars to the frozen yogurt dessert bar. Dorm rooms are air conditioned. The dorm is three stories high and has an elevator. Please make note of any special needs when you register.

Single rooms are available for an additional charge of $100.
Those living within commuting distance or who wish to stay in a near-by motel may attend the workshop without room or meals for $475 ($515 after May 15).
Spouses or friends accompanying participants pay $350 ($390 after May 15) for lodging and meals. For those who wish to arrive on Saturday, an extra night’s lodging is available for $65.50 (single) or $45.50 (double/per person). Parking for those staying off campus is $30 for the week.
Graduate and PDU/CTE Credits
COMM505 Reading and Conference is an optional one hour ($95), two hour ($190) or three hour ($285) graduate credit course available for each of the three workshops. Each requires an additional project beyond the week to earn the credit.
College credit must be paid separately to SOU at the first class meeting on Sunday. There are 30 hours of professional development credits available. Check with your district to be sure you can use them.
Shakespeare Festival Tickets
We have a limited number of tickets for the Wednesday evening Aug 8 performance of Romeo and Juliet. Details about the play are at:
