In this learning strand, participants will experience the production pipeline of a TV studio style broadcast journalism program including story assignments, package conceptualization, field production, post production and live studio choreography.

During the workshop, we’ll take time to highlight the aspects of content management and the tools of technical construction that enhance the quality of the final broadcast. This will include strategies for organizing story ideas, acquiring quality audio media, shooting dynamic visual media, using non linear editing tools, and graphic creation.

This session is appropriate for all levels: advisers looking to upgrade the school’s morning announcements, digital art or journalism teachers hoping to integrate more media creation into their programs, or experienced advisers interested in collaborating and workshopping new concepts.
